Michelin-starred cuisine in one of the top restaurants in Hamburg

Jochen Kempf, one of Germany’s most distinguished chefs de cuisine, holds again the Michelin Star for exquisite cooking for the “Prinz Frederik” which is one of only ten first rated restaurants with a Michelin Star in Hamburg.

 

Since longer terms there exist secret hints, not only by prominents,  to the top restaurant “Prinz Frederik”, especially since the chef de cuisine Jochen Kempf is taking the gastronomic experience into a new and exciting phase. Guests may enjoy innovated gluttony in the restaurant. It’s a celebration of the finest dishes. The refined culinary art created by the chef de cuisine  has its roots in Mediterranean stile and is an uncommon gourmet experience. A dinner in its honour not only for the eyes, becomes superlatively gratification of meal by artful aromatic composition for the tongue and palate. 

 

Mediteranian style and a passion for fine ingredients 

 

Jochen Kempf started his career at the Kempinski Hotel Gravenbruch in education for a cook. He worked as the right-hand man to Hans Haas at the Frankfurter “Brückenkeller” restaurant and became there soon the sous-chef, later on both worked together at the “Tantis” Restaurant in Munich. 2002 he succeeded as best of class and became the chef de cuisine. As the successor of the star chef de cuisine Rainer Wolter,  Jochen Kempf received 15 Gault-Millau points for his cooking at the Hotel Prem at the Alster lake in Hamburg.  Beside his passion for his profession , discipline and proclivity for perfection he stands out for his emphasis on the very finest ingredients and his extraordinary imaginative creations. The cooking philosophy of  Jochen Kempf is also presented  by Sous Chef Martin Gers and forms the gourmet temple in the noble restaurant “Prinz Frederik”.
